Some of Edox CO-1 and Neptunian Timepieces are equipped with a decompression system that allows helium to escape from the inside the watch when worn by professional use in pressure chambers (long-term underwater work, crude oil exploration, etc).

Up to four times harder than stainless steel, ceramic is scratch-resistant and thus extremely durable. Mainly used to build the bezels of Edox watches, this material will also prevent the colors from fading.

A screw-down crown/pusher creates a seal when the crown locks with the case’s internal threads and gaskets, fixing it securely. It protects the watch from water and dust and increases the water resistance of the watch.
